Once upon a time, in a Forbes wired city, news Tweeted out from the Tweetup committee. Tweeple will drive for miles and miles, to demo and mingle to trade files and smiles .

One single worried, she’d be all alone, a Queen with no King, an ‘i’ with no phone.

She planted a seed, with an ambiguous tweet, “Anyone up for a fun Tweetup meet?”

Everyone teased her, “You don’t need a date!”

She typed in all caps, “I’LL GET ONE, DON’T HATE!”

The days counting down she acted in haste, the Tweetup was coming, no time was to waste.

“I’ll tweet to the only King that I know, he’ll be so excited, he’ll be dying to go!”

She tweeted in public for the masses to see, “Take me to ‘Prom’! I’ll take you, you take me!”

He jumped up and down, “But what will I wear, to impress the Queen with the long, flowy hair.”

The Tweetup was set, and soon the day came.  “THE TWEETUP HAS STARTED,” Wayne Sutton proclaimed.

“We’ve got this app, and that app, and so many more!  And after the demos, feel free to explore!”

The Queen and King turned heads left and right.  Then out of the masses, upright came a knight.

“That is the mammal, who shall take my throne.  I know for his humor and moxy he’s shown.”

“But what of his Queen, where might she be…. oh, there she is, she’s with the emcee.”

“Ginny and Mammal! Come up to the mic, we have an announcement, we think you may like.”

Toasty and Instant stood up and said, “Our crowns and our sashes, we now have to shed. Its sad to do, to give up our power, it’s only probably, been like an hour.”

Pictures were taken and words were recorded, the crowns and the titles, have now been awarded.  Until the next Tweetup, these two shall rule, a King and a Queen, one pretty, one fool.

    I can't even begin to take full credit for this writeup. Last night I was in writing mode and came to a hault. I sent @instanttaylor my first draft and he botched it up like an english teacher with a red paper …and apparently lots of white out…lol cause this doesn't even look like my first draft.
