Another sports related twitter use is my tweeting the stats of my kids' basketball games.
Recent tweets:
Daughter lost basketball game 18-16 in a nailbitter. She took 1 shot and grabbed 1 rebound.
Son's stats in basketball win: 5-6 FG, 1-2 FT, 11 pts, 4 rebs, 1 steal. Score 29-21
Both of these tweets have elicited online and real world conversations. And I am always happy to tweet about my kids' accomplishments.

We have all come a long way since that first tweetup. And not just in our professional and social media lives, but in our capital F friendships.

That first tweetup was so fun. I remember @waynesutton livestreamed it. I couldn't stay for the whole thing because I had a hair appointment. I remember thinking the word "Tweetup" was so cute/clever. And since then I've come to know/collaborate with @theRab and @dgtlpapercuts. And love chatting with @shepherdfx whenever we see each other at conferences or other tweetups. So much has changed on Twitter since then.
