Do you need a date for the tweetup? If so, just ask on twitter. That’s what happened today.

As we get close to the Triangle tweetup on January 29th, things seem to be heating up and the excitement is in the air. We already have guest speakers, a keynote on online community building, a food drive and now we have to keep our eyes out for the tweetup prom queen and king.   

For those of you who were apart of the many tweetups in 2008 you know that coming alone sometimes has it perks but coming with someone also shows that you’re not just a geek who tweets and have no offline friends. Even though there is nothing wrong with being a geek, you may want to arrive at the tweetup with a date or a wingman and that’s the case with @ToAsTySnAcKs on twitter.

To my knowledge I haven’t met either @ToAsTySnAcKs or @instanttaylor in real life before but I’m looking forward to seeing the both of them walk through the doors of Edge Office.  The question now is will they be dropped off by a limo and dress in a tuxedo and a prom dress.
